Purpose of This Policy
Taf Flix Originals is the official label under which Taf Flix produces and co-produces films. The goal is to provide high-quality African content while maintaining ownership, monetization, and brand integrity.
Ownership of Content
• Taf Flix owns all copyrights for Originals produced internally.
• Co-produced films require contracts specifying ownership percentages.
• Creative contributors (actors, writers, and crew) retain personal rights, but not distribution rights.
Production Standards
• Every project must have a written production plan: budget, cast, crew, and schedule.
• Content must comply with legal, ethical, and cultural standards.
• All Originals must align with Taf Flix’s mission: promoting African stories and talent.
Revenue & Monetization
• Taf Flix retains all revenue from subscriptions, rentals, tips, and licensing.
• Revenue sharing with co-producers or contributors is defined by separate agreements.
• Platform dashboards track all monetization for transparency.
Rights Management
• Taf Flix has exclusive streaming rights on its platform.
• Third-party licensing requires formal agreements.
• Taf Flix may remove content to protect IP or brand reputation.
Compliance
• Originals must comply with copyright and digital streaming laws.
• Taf Flix may audit, review, or remove content violating laws or platform rules.
Transparency & Communication
• All contributors must sign agreements before production.
• Updates, budgets, and revenue reports are shared with stakeholders.
• Disputes are resolved internally or via mediation/arbitration.
